Review L'Oréal Triple Active Fresh gel cream

Well hello y'all!

In this blog post I'll be talking about a moisturizer, yes another moisturizer. I've been experimenting with all different kinds of moisturizers and although they all work and still don't fulfill all of my wishes, I haven't found my HG yet.

When I saw this lying on the shelf I didn't have too high hopes for it. The thing that caught my eye was that this is a gel.
As soon as I opened it, I immediately thought of Biotherm's Aqua Source which is a light gel like texture. Whenever I applied it to my face it actually felt like putting Aqua Source's brother on my face: it's a little bit heavier than Biotherm's moisturizer. Aqua Soure is a very light gel cream, which is fresh and gets absorbed into the skin like water. This is a tad thicker, feels fresh on the skin as well and absorbs easily too but not as quick as the Biotherm one.
L'Oréal Triple Active Fresh super hydrating gel cream
I've included this moisturizer in my beauty regime. I cleanse my skin and put some of this on before I go to bed. It hydrates my skin without being too greasy.

The only thing that put me off was when I was reading the ingredients. This contains parabens. These are chemicals being put in cosmetics to preserve them. I try to use as less silicons and parabens as much as possible. Although this feels great on my skin and I'll be finishing this product, I won't be repurchasing this.

Review Essence Glow tinted lip balms

Hi there!

Yes, you can expect another review on some tinted lip balms. And yes, I really am a lip junkie. I bought myself 2 tinted lip balms by the drugstore brand Essence.

When I swatched these, I was quite surprised by the pigmentation. If you know me, you know I like natural looks and even though I choose pigmented lip balms I still prefer them to be quite natural looking and no too overpowering.

Let's have a look at them:
Essence Glow tinted lip balms
The packaging is simple, but I like the simplicity of it. They're small, so very convenient to throw on your purse and the twist lip balm is great for hygienic reasons. The color of the packaging show what color it is, which is good for those lazy people like me :)

The first thing that I noticed when I opened it was the scent. It has a sweet candy scent to it, which doesn't bother me because I have a sweet tooth (not that I'll be eating it, but at least I don't mind it).

As you can see I own 2 shades:
Essence Glow tinted lip balm: 01 Light Up!
Essence Glow tinted lip balm: 02 Glam Up!

They're both more hydrating than I thought they would be and the color pigmentation is greater than I expected. The creamy texture to it makes is easy to glide on the lips.

As for longevity, they last about 3 to 4 hours. It will come off when you drank or ate something. So don't expect any magic to happen.

Here below you'll find some swatches to check out the color:
left: 01 Light Up! - right: 02 Glam Up!

Light Up! is a red tinted lip balm, although you shouldn't expect a deep red from it. remember they're lip balms and apply sheer on the lips.

Glam Up! is a coral lip balm which is a very subtle pretty color on the lips. It gives you the natural look.

If you look closely you'll notice a subtle difference, but from a distant Light Up! looks almost the same as Glam Up!

Whenever buying drugstore products, I try to withhold my excitement until I get to swatch them. I have to say that some of the drugstore brands really have stepped up their game.

I've always seen Catrice and Essence together. Both brands have significantly grown packaging and quality wise. Although you only pay a few euros as a matter of speaking, some products are actually very good. It's quite obvious if you look at the price ranging: you just can't expect the best of the best from a drugstore brand.
I think Catrice and Essence are great brands for those who just got into make up and are looking for very affordable make up items.

I can only say: experiment, experiment, experiment. There are times when I even think that some drugstore brands can beat higher end products. Don't judge a book by its cover. You may be finding your HG in the drugstore section :)

Review Bourjois cream blush

I think Bourjois is doing great: they've recently released beautiful make up items that really stand out to me: the So Lacque Glossy Nail Lacquer Shades came out in a gorgeous range of pastel colors, the Color Boost glossy finish lipsticks are great quality and came in 4 different colors and recently I found the cream blushes that happen to be awesome :)

These cream blushes are actually cream to powder blushes. This means that they're cream in the little pot, but once applied they come off as a powder. It's very soft to the touch when it's applied. These blushes contain poppy, apricot and mango butter extracts. These extracts will make your sking more glowy and softer.
Bourjois cream blush: 04 Sweet Cherry

They're all very natural colors and would suit those with a lighter complexion better.

The Cream blushes collection has 4 different colors:
  1. Nude Velvet: the lightest matte color in the collection.
  2. Healthy Glow: A darker version of the first one. A warm peachy color with subtle glitter.
  3. Rose Tender: A pink color with subtle glitter.
  4. Sweet Cherry: The darker version of 3, an old spice matte color.
I have a light medium skintone and I own Sweet Cherry. The other colors were too light for my complexion, but the 4th blush is a perfect match for me. Loving this!

Tips&tricks:
  • Apply cream blushes with a stippling brush. Fingers are a good make up tool as well. Just make sure your fingers are clean before dipping in the blush.
  • Apply cream blush on the naked face. Make sure to put cream blush before powder. Remember: fluid on fluid and powder on powder.
  • To make the color stand out more, apply several times or apply a powder blush of the same color on top of it.
Have fun beauties! :)

NOTW: Ben & Cherries

Hello there my precious!
I've got another NOTW for you all, and yes it's another drugstore polish. You know how much I like my drugstore goodies!
Essence - Ben&Cherries

This week's mani is by the brand Essence. It's one of the cheaper drugstore brands and when I saw the display I was immediately drawn to because of its cuteness!

Essence has a new ice cream collection.

This is Ben&Cherries (adorable name!) and it's a pink, slight lilac color. If you look closely you'll see subtle shimmer, which makes it just that little more fancy than it is.

It has a creamy texture and I have to admit that doesn't goes as smooth as I want it to be. You definitely need 2 coats since the first coat applies quite streaky.
Nonetheless, I can't complain for the price I have paid, which is about ... peanuts :)

The drying time takes some a while, but that's where my Sally Hansen comes to the rescue. That baby has cut my waiting time tremendously with every polish, and this is no exception.

All and all, not a bad polish, but I won't be repurchasing this.

Do you know any other good drugstore polishes you mind sharing?

top 10 drugstore products under 10 euro

Well hello there,

Are you like me and nosy to know what 10 products are good and affordable? Please, make yourself comfortable and let those eyeballs work! FYI: These products aren't in any particular order :)

As you may have seen, if I have to give you a list of goodies I like to work from the top down, so let's kick it into high gear shall we?

Maybelline 24h Color Tattoo - 9,99€
These babies are the B.O.M.B.! They come in a wide range of colors, they stay on for about 6 to 8 hours, don't crease (don't forget I have super oily eyelids y'all) and they're affordable. This was my go to product last year. Just keep in mind that depending on which country you live in the names of the Color Tattoos may vary.
top: 35 Tough as Taupe
left: 65 Pink Gold - right: 35 On and On Bronze

Essence STAYS No matter what waterproof eyepencil - 1€
I like to tightline (=lining your waterline). I don't like to line my eyes, because it doesn't give the appearance to having bigger eyes as good as I want it to be. It's a subtle line but it makes a huge difference to the eyes, if you ask me. I have trouble finding a good, affordable eyepencil, and I have found a Japanese eyepencil, but since they're not easy accessible I have to find ways to keep an eye out for pencils of which I can get a hold of easily. This waterproof eyepencil will wear out during the day, but for the first few hours this looks pretty darn good. The good thing is that this smudge just a teeny tiny tad, but it gives your eyes more of a sultry look than a panda look.
Essense STAYS no matter what: 01 Midnight Black

Essence coverstick - 1,99€
My cheapest concealer ever. I 'm not going to say that this is my best concealer I own, but it's in my to 3 for sure. It leaves a matte finish and the stick makes it easy to apply. The only negative point about this? It can melt quite easily due to the cheap packaging. Just leave it in a cooler place for a while and the concealer is good to go!
Essence coverstick: 05 matt beige
Rimmel Stay Matte long lasting pressed powder - 9,99€
Who of the oily faced girls doesn't like matte? This powder will leave you face matter than matte :) Plain packaging with the lid on top, although I do prefer a lid which is attached to the powder. Cheap packaging, but good face stuff!
Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder: warm beige
Bourjois Color Boost - 9,99€
I've posted a blog blabber on this product before, so you can click here to give it a read so I don't repeat myself. Long story short? I love this! Great colors, great pigmentation& affordable!
Top down:
01 Red Sunrise
03 Orange Punch
04 Peach on the Beach

NYC Applelicious Glossy lipbalm - 2,79€ (356 Big Apple Red)
Another tinted lip balm I've fallen in love with. This moisturizes your lips, gives it a lovely color and smells so goooood! The color is buildable and go on from a sheer red (one application) to a brighter red (3 or 4 applications). I like the sheer red because I've only recently learned to wear colored lip. This is my go to red for fancy occasions :)
NYC Applelicious Glossy lipbalm: 65 Big Apple Red

Nivea Pure Effect Peel Soft Mild Scrub - 5,99€
This leaves the face matte. The scrub contains little beeds that are very gentle for the skin and aren't abrasive at all. You'll need about a pea size amount for each wash. I've purchased mine about a year ago and I'm guessing I'll be able to use mine until the end of the year :)

Catrice nail polish - 2,99€
Catrice is one of my favorite drugstore brands for nail polishes, because they always have fun colors and their monthly collections are always fun to look at. One of my favorite polishes is from this brand: click here to check out a swatch. Some of their polishes do require 3 coats, but so do more expensive polish brands. I'd rather buy more Catrice polishes than 1 famous make up brand. Go Catrice!
Catrice: Walk On Air

HEMA nail polish - 2,95€
I'm not sure whether HEMA is known outside of Belgium and the Netherlands, but their polishes are good enough for me. They stay on for a good week, 5 days if you're a very busy (wo)man :) If you're wondering what it looks like on the nails, check out the swatches here! The wide variety of colors sucks me in every time, and the quality is just as good as some of the more expensive brands.
HEMA: 808

Garnier body calming gel L-bifidus Peach extract for dry&sensitive skin - 3,99€
You're probably wondering: gel for dry&sensitive skin? You? But you keep on whining on how oily your face is? Well, surprise surprise! My body has rather dry skin and after showering I need this baby to lock in some moisture before I become a dry banana!
Garnier Intensive calming gel
These were my 10 favorite products. I have always wanted to a blog post like this online because it just shows that great quality goodies can be found in drugstores as well!

Recently my fingers have been itching to set up a '5 products of each make up category'. So stay tuned for those blog posts! :)

Review Bourjois Color Boost

Yes, you're right. I'm back again with another post on lip blabber :)

As you all know I'm always on the hunt for a good lippy, and this month I discovered a Bourjois lip balm, but not just any, no no ... it's a lipstick that comes in one of those crayon forms. You know that a lot of brands have come out with their tinted lip balms such as Clinique's Chubby Sticks and Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. Well, Bourjois has come out with their version of it. They're called the Bourjois Color Boost and they've launched 4 colors: 01 Red Sunrise, 02 Fuchsia Libre, 03 Orange Punch and 04 Peach on the Beach.
Red Sunrise is a watermelon color which is a pinkish red. Perfect for those who are afraid of using a bright red on their lips. This is a great color to start your way to a red lipstick.
Fuchsia Libre is a cool toned pink. I don't think this color would suit me since I have a yellow undertone, but I'm sure this color would suit those with a more pinkish undertone.
Orange Punch is a color that appeals to me. Don't let the name fool you, it's not a true orange lipstick, it's more of a peachy pink color.
And then we have Peach on the Beach, a coral color that's very light and wearable. I think this is a great color because it's noticeable that you're wearing color on your lips, but it's not too much color.

Below you'll find 3 of the 4 colors: Red Sunrise, Orange Punch and Peach on the Beach:
Bourjois Color Boost: 01 Red Sunrise, 03 Orange Punch, 04 Peach on the Beach
Top down swatches 01, 03, 04

They're very easy to apply thanks to their creamy texture. It has a good enough pigmentation and it leaves a glossy finish on the lips. A plus? The crayon makes it more fun for you to draw it onto the lips since it's just a big, fat pencil :)

There aren't really downsides, but I do have to contradict what they claim.
It says to stay for 10h. I've eaten and drank with this lip balm and the glossy finish goes away like most lipsticks do. I'd say this will stay on the lips for about 5h.
It also says on the crayon to be a lipstick. I think it's more of a crossing of a lip balm and a lip stain. It applies as smooth as a lip balm and after half a day you can still see a hint of color on your lips.

Honestly I only have good thing to say about this collection:
  • they have cute colors
  • they're cheap
  • they're creamy and don't dry out your lips
  • they have SPF 15
The Clinique Chubby sticks are quite expensive, the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains aren't easy accessible in Belgium, so I'm a very happy lad to say that these drugstore lippies are one of my favorite products this summer. Great crayons to add to my make up collection I'd say! :)

Favorite products of the month: July 2013

So, how did we already pass half summer? Time literally flies by!
But you know what the end of a month means, right? Yup, another listing of my favorite products of the passed month! :)

The month July hasn't been very nice to my skin at all. I had breakouts and I needed treatment, not just for the face, but for the entire body. It's been a while since my body was in such a bad condition...

Let's work from the top down and start with facial products:
Lately the oils in my skin have been going out like crazy. I know during summer my skin has the tendency to go all nuts, but I've been on the look out for good mattifying products to keep my oils at bay.
The Bioderma and the Shu Uemura Pureness mattifying moisturizer have been good to my skin, because they're very light moisturizers but they've been keeping my skin fairly matte.

Left:Bioderma Sébium moisturising mattifying fluid
Right: Shiseido Pureness mattifying moisturiser

Besides that, pimples had several parties on my face. Costume parties. As in, they were everywhere and in all forms. Whenever I'm need of a good zit killer, I take out the big guns: my Benzac Gel. This hydrogel contains 5% of benzoylperoxide. If you haven't heard of this chemical, it mainly dries out the zit causing it for it to DIE, mwoehahaha! Honestly, it's THE bomb diggity to get rid of any breakouts.

Benzac Gel

This passed month I had to go to the dentist, and I had to sit there for about 2 hours with my mouth open. This caused the sides of my mouth crack, and believe you me... it hurts like hell afterwards! I've done some research and I found out that Sudocrem appears to be a very good treatment for healing cracks. After walking around with those cracks for weeks, it healed after applying Sudocrem for just 1 day! Holy moly guacemole, right?
It's known to be a do-it-all for several things, such as soothing a baby's nappy rash, treat dry, cracked feet, get rid of red spots from acne, ... A big plus? It's hypoallergenic, so this will be fighting against those annoying allergic reactions!
Sudocrem
This month I've discovered my epilator and my tweezers again, because you know how we girls be, huh? :) I like to get rid of any excess hair that bothers me, and I have my Tweezerman to thank for. I used to use cheap tweezers and I must admit, nothing beats a Tweezerman. They're so sharp that they can get every hair out, yet they're not as sharp they can cut you. Great stuff!
Tweezerman

If you haven't read the recent last blog posts yet, I've been going on and on about how important SPF is. Recently I've discovered a sunscreen that can keep my face matte, and it has a high SPF factor. It's the Eucerin SPF 50. I'm not going into it too deep anymore, if you would like some more information on it, go ahead and give this one a read.
Eucerin sun fluid SPF 50

As for make up, since this is still a beauty blog, I have 2 drugstore eyeliners, and they're both from the brand Essence.
On the top you'll see the waterproof eye pencil that claims to be: waterproof, partyproof, lifeproof, lasts up to 16 hours and it's sharpenable. It's supposed to stay on NO MATTER WHAT. I must say that this does stay for quite some time.
The second eye pencil is a longlasting one. It's a supersoft eye pencil which is good for precise application.
They're both very good drugstore eye liners that's definitely worth the money! They're cheap (I only paid 1€ for each pencil), they're long lasting, they have a good pigmentation, they're easily accessible (drugstore). Worth giving a shot!
Top: Essence stays no matter what waterproof eye pencil: 01 midnight black
Down: Essence Longlasting eye pencil: 01 black fever

During the summer sales, I often have a peek through the sales boxes and this year I found a YSL cream blush. It's pretty pinkish color that will leave your skin dewy. You don't need too much of this: one or two swipes and hello healthy glow! I'm really glad I found this because I've been on the hunt for a good cream blush and I think I found my blush of the summer.
Yves Saint Laurent cream blush no6

As for lips, I have discovered Bourjois' Color Boost Peach on the Beach. It's a coral lipstick in a crayon form. A great color to wear for those who have been wearing lip balm forever and just started to wear lipstick :) A review of this goodie will be coming up soon!
Bourjois Color Boost: 04 Peach on the Beach

I like bright nail polish colors during the summer, especially for my toes! I've been rocking NYX's hot pink for the entire month of July. It's a fun color that will make your feet look more tanned than they're already are, 2 in 1, yeah baby!
NYX - Dance in Havana

Last but not least, I've been using an oil spray to tame those fly aways down and to make my hair more shiny. I spritz this oil in my damp hair and this makes my hair softer and gives it some shine which my hair has been lacking of. I'm not a fan of the scent, although a lot of those beauty bloggers love the Macadamia scent, but I'll keep on using this because it does the job.
Macadamia - Healing Oil Spray

These were my favorite goodies of the month. Mind sharing yours with me?

Micro drugstore haul

Hey everyone!

I recently did some shopping because I wanted to try out some things, so let's get right into it shall we :)

Maybelline Illegal Length mascara - Rimmel Scandaleyes eye pencil - L'Oréal Color Riche: 207 Babydoll - L'Oréal Color Riche nail stickers

Maybelline Illegal Length Fibre Extensions Mascara:
As you might know I have the typical short, stick straight asian lashes. They can use all the volume and length it can get! After reading some reviews on this mascara, I decided to give this one a go. I usually buy asian mascara's, because in my head I'm thinking 'Well, if asians make it, they must be good for me because they understand what my lashes need' :D Might sound ridiculous, but I've been sticking to that theory for years. I tried to step out of the box, and give this Western mascara a go, haha!

It claims to give the lashes an instant extension effect, without any flakes thanks to the fibre-fix brush. It supposedly to give your lashes an extra length of 4 mm!!

I admit, this mascara is ok, but it still doesn't match up to the asian mascara's I have, for real. They hold my curl a little bit, but some lashes do droop down. Lengthwise, they do lengthen a bit, but definitely no 4 mm!
What I do like about this mascara is the formula: although it's a non-waterproof one, it doesn't smudge on me as bad as other mascara's do.

Tip: Don't let this mascara dry when putting several coats, otherwise it will clump.

Conlusion: I do prefer this mascara over other Maybelline mascara's, but they're not even close to being as good as asian mascara's.

Rimmel Scandaleyes waterproof eye pencil:
Apparently this eye pencil gets compared to the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencil. If you know that by buying 1 Urban Decay pencil you can buy 3 Rimmel pencils, you will be quite astonished :)

The staying power of this kajal pencil is darn good. And not just for a drugstore, but in general. The only thing I wish there could do, is release a pure black one. I bought the 002 sparkling black, because this was the only black they had. Do you girls might know whether there's a black one?

I'll keep this one short: I LIKE this pencil very much! :)

L'Oréal Color Riche nail polish in 207 Babydoll:
Most of you know by now that I love L'Oréal Color Riche's nail polishes. They're cheap, have a good variety of colors and they last quite a long time.

This shimmering pink recently caught my eye. It's a pretty pink that will girlify every outfit instantly. The only thing I'm scared of, is that this may look cheap on the nails. Guess you'll have to stay tuned for another NOTW to find out! :)

L'Oréal Color Riche nail stickers:
I've put a blog post on these stickers, so feel free to check it out.
Long story short, I like the stickers as long as they're not too 'in your face'. Only downside to these are probably the pulling it off-part. This can dry/ruin your top layer of your nail. Besides that, they look pretty darn good!

So that was a haul for this time. If you girls have any recommendations for me you think I should try or I might like, don't be shy to leave a comment and fill me in. Have a good one everyone!

NOTW: Pink

And I'm back beauties!

Today I have another NOTW for you guys.

If you've been following me for a while or if you live near Belgium or the Netherlands, you probably know HEMA, a drugstore from the Netherlands.

A few months ago they've expanded their polish collection, and I've been dying to try them out!

Since they are drugstore (read: cheap as hell!), I don't expect too much from them, but honestly... I must admit that they do last quite some while for a drugstore. But nowadays some drugstore polishes last even longer than my high ends ones!!

Unfortunately the HEMA polishes don't have any names on their polishes, but hey, if they do the job and come out in darn pretty colors, I don't mind the anonymity :)

Lately I've been in such a pink mood and I've been purchasing pink polishes of all kinds. Anyway, here's my latest purchase:

HEMA - pink
It's a beautiful hot pink with a duochrome with purple. Honestly, I can't get enough of the HEMA polishes. They apply beautiful opaque with just one coat, they're cheap, they're pretty and they com in a wide variety of colors.

MORE PLEASE! :)

Conceal them bad boys!

Hi everyone! I'm back with another blog post!

Today I'll be talking about concealer, and not just any concealer... No no, it's - without a doubt - THE cheapest drugstore concealers I've ever come across!
I'm talking about Essence's coverstick:
Essence's coverstick: 05 matt beige

I've barely paid 2EUR for this stick. You get 5g (0.17oz) and I must admit ... I've been using this cover stick for a few months and I'm sure I'll be using this for the coming 6 months. Uhu!

It's a beige concealer which gives light to medium coverage. It is definitely build-able and can be used to cover redness and/or blemishes. Although I mostly use concealer to cover up my redness around the nose (hormones..aaah!)

I must admit I'm quite impressed for the price I have to pay.

Yes, I do still prefer my Shu Uemura Pro Light concealer, but I can afford a gazillion of Essence coversticks instead of 1 Shu concealer.

Will I repurchase this? Yes!
Is it affordable? Hell yes!
Does it give any coverage? Yes, but don't count on it for covering your pimpliest of pimples :)

Overall: yes, I do recommend this especially for those newbies out there :)

Eyelash curlers: to have or to have not?

If there's one beauty item I can't live without, it would be eyelash curler!
It's an item that can totally change the way you look!

For all those beauty newbies out there, buy yourself an eye lash curler! Trust me! It opens you look in an instant and if you look around in drugstores, you CAN get yourself a cheaper but a good one!

I have pretty stubborn eye lashes, they're the typical Asian eyelashes which are short, stick straight and pointing down. In other words, they're one of the suckiest lashes out there :D

An eyelash curler was my first beauty buy when I just started getting interested in beauty related thingies. I used a ridiculous cheap curler and my eye lashes punished me by falling and breaking off... I guess I learned to appreciate those short eye lashes over having no lashes at all, hahaha!

I started to do some research and found out the Shu Uemura was a holy grail for a lot of Asian people out there. I decided to invest in a Shu curler, and man oh man, did I fall in love with it!
Shu Uemura
It has a comfortable handle, it curls well (which makes my lashes !!long!!) and it can be used for several years. This curler is an HG!

After using it for a few years, I decided to keep an eye open for cheaper versions but have the same curve and I came across with this...
Cyber Colors
I must say I'm pretty impressed by this.
This is the Cyber Colors eye lash curler that I got at Sasa, an Asian drugstore (as in Target, Ulta, Walmart, ... in the States).  I even dare to say that it can be compared to the Shu Uemura one, except ... this is WAY cheaper!

Here's a picture of both eyelash curlers next to each other.
Shu Uemura - Cyber Colors
As you can see, the Shu Uemura has a more curving wand and I was kind of hesitant to use this, because I've used cheaper ones before and they eventually pulled my eyelashes out (not a pretty sight if you already don't have a lot of them!). But, it has the same curling effect, the handle is comfortable to use. The only (maybe) downside is that the CC's cushion doesn't last as long as the one from Shu, but hey...you're paying almost no money for this curler!

For the moment, I'm loving both and can alternate between them both. Since I didn't pay much for the CC, I'm more comfortable carrying this one around in my beauty case without being scared of dropping, losing (though I hope I don't!), breaking it. As to the Shu, I prefer leaving that one at home where my beauty case stays put and doesn't need to be carried out and about :)

NOTDs

Summer has passed by like nothing, leafs are changing colors and it's getting colder outside. Know what that means? Time to adjust polish to the season :)

Lately I've been into hot pinks, dark pinks, baby pink... in a nutshell: any pink polish have been my nails' best friend.

Here are some NOTDs:
Bourjois - Fuchsia Bucolique
1st up, Bourjois!
They've released gel formula polishes, and since I've heard god things about gel polishes, I wanted to try these since they're drugstores versions (yay, for lower price!)
This hot pink is actually quite good. It claims to dry up in 1 second. I wouldn't say 1 second, but it does dry quite fast, I must admit. Ow, and by the way, 1 coat is definitely enough :) I like!

Bourjois - Coral Magique
Another Bourjois gel formula polish. I don't really like this one for one particular reason: it's got gold shimmers in it. I'm not the shimmer kind of girl and I prefer my polishes opaquer as opaque :) It's a coral polish (and you all know I love my corals), but due to the shimmers in it I'm not  a big fan of this one. A shame, because it's the same formula as the polish mentioned above.
HEMA
Another polish from a local Belgian drugstore. It's hot pink polish, that needs 2 coats but has a beautiful opaque color. It's cheap, lovely color and stays on quite long. Right on!

OPI
If this isn't hot pink, I don't know what is! It's a gorgeous hot pink color from OPI, gifted by my friend. 1 coats does the job and stayed upto 5 days, muchos likos! :)

NOTW: Bourjois no16

Hi there!

A bit late with posting my picture up, but here's the color I've been wearing this week.

It's a gorgeous red with gold sparkles in it. It reminds me of Chanel's distraction because of the texture and subtle sparkles in it. This is definitely one of my favorite reds out there!

Here's a picture of the beautiful red by day.
Bourjois no16
And here's on took after wearing this for almost a week, by night.
You can see it has chipped around the cuticles, but overall... not bad at all!
Bourjois no16

The Bourjois polishes are pretty much available everywhere since they're a drugstore brand. Honestly, I've tried high end that can't last longer than this baby!

Without a doubt, for those red polish lovers, give this one a try! :)
